From Our School Council

Our upcoming fun lunch is December 20. Ordering for December fun lunch is open until December 15. 

Join us for our next school council meeting on Thursday December 12 at 6:30 pm in person or online.  All are welcome! 

Project Kindness

This holiday season Haysboro Hawks and their families with the  support of School Council are invited to participate in Project Kindness by collecting donations to support families in our school community and the animals at the Calgary Humane Society.  

To support our families please donate gift cards to Superstore, Canadian Tire, Amazon, gas stations, grocery stores and fast food locations. If you are able to make a large donation, please consider sending it in smaller denomination cards so that it can be distributed among more families. 

For the animals at the Calgary Humane Society please donate, clean used: towels, blankets, flat sheets and animal beds. As well as new: unexpired and unopened animal food, animal treats, cat litter and animal toys. 

Donations can be brought to the school office from Monday December 2 until Friday December 13.

Parking Lot and Street Safety

A heartfelt thank you to those families who have adapted their street safety habits so model safe behavior for our students. We know it may take a few extra moments, but your efforts are noticed and appreciated. A gentle reminder that as with all schools, the parking lot has stalls assigned and is not available for student drop off or pickup. With the slippery conditions and staff who are frequently in and out of the parking lot, reducing community traffic is important for personal and vehicle safety. Thank you in advance for parking on the street and walking your child to the school.

Clothing and Weather

As we move into the colder months, we want to remind you that we do monitor outdoor temperatures and students will go outside daily unless it is extremely cold or wet. Thank you in advance for ensuring that your Haysboro School student arrives with clothing appropriate for the weather.
