News From School Council
Casino Fundraiser - The Haysboro School Council is excited to announce that we have secured this year’s major fundraising event on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 at Cowboys Casino.
Casino fundraisers help pay for enriched learning activities like field trips, artists in residence, music instruments, and more. We need volunteers to make this happen!

Purdy's Chocolate Fundraiser - The ordering deadline for Purdy's chocolates has passed. Pick up of your order will be on April 1. More details to come!
Teacher Coffee Break - Let's show Haysboro teachers and staff our appreciation by providing them with a tasty potluck breakfast during Parent-Teacher conferences next Friday.
Sign up to bring coffee, muffins or other delicious treats! Items can be dropped off after school on Thursday, March, 19th, or from 7:30am-8:30am on Friday, March 20.

Kindergarten Registration Open
Registration for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. When we plan staffing and class configurations, it is incredibly helpful to have as clear a picture as possible around student numbers.
If you know of anyone who is planning to register in our wonderful school (kindergarten or otherwise), please encourage them to do so as soon as possible! If there are any questions or if support is required, we are more than happy to chat with families. Please encourage them to call the school office!
Thank you to everyone who tells us that they are sharing positive messages about Haysboro School with their friends. You are an important reason why our little school continues to grow!
Fun Lunch
Haysboro School Council is pleased to continue to offer monthly fun lunches through Healthy Hunger for the new school year. Proceeds from fun lunches are directed back to the School Council account to support initiatives like student experiences, field trips, etc.
Meals will be delivered at lunchtime to students in grade 1-6 and Kindergarten students who attend Maple Roots after school program.

The next Fun Lunch is Via Cibo and it is on Tuesday, March 31. Orders need to be placed by March 26.
Tax Receipts
Child Care Tax Receipts – Lunch Supervision Child Care Tax Receipts for CBE Lunch Supervision (January 2025–December 2025) are now available through MyCBE.
Please download and/or print your online receipt to include with your 2025 tax return. Paper copies are no longer provided. If you do not already have a MyCBE account, please create one to access your receipt. MyCBE > Fees, Waivers & Service Registrations > Menu (three lines) > Tax Receipts For withdrawn students, please have parents email StudentFees@cbe.ab.ca.
School Store
Great news! The School Store is open! You can order through the following link: https://haysboroschoolapparel.itemorder.com/
The store will close on March 15 and orders will be sent to the school once the items are ready.
School Conferences
Our conferences will be occurring in the evening of March 19 and the daytime of March 20.
Booking is now open and will close on Thursday March 19 at 8:00 am. Please log into your MyCBE account to book an interview.
Thursday will be in person. Friday will be online (in person available by request).
Important Dates:
March 19 - Last day of classes for students (no classes on March 20)
March 19 - Conferences booking closes at 8:00 am
March 19 (evening), 20 (Daytime) - School Conferences
March 21-29 - Spring Break
March 30 - School resumes
