Hello Haysboro Families!

Please see below for our weekly updates.

Welcome back to all of our students and families. It is nice to see everyone!

Important Updates

The Calgary Board of Education has recently shared several updates with families regarding a return to full operations. Please ensure that you review these messages if you have not already. Any additional information will be distributed as it becomes available.

Remembrance Day Assembly

We are excited to invite you to the November 7 Remembrance Day assembly at Haysboro School.  Rooms 3 and 6 (Ms. Brierton and Miss Bano) are hosting the assembly this year.   Guests can begin arriving at 10:20 am.  Please enter through the main doors at the office.  The assembly will begin shortly after 10:40 am.

All are welcome as we show our respect for Canadian veterans and peacekeepers a few days early, due to the Fall Break timing.

Fun Lunch

Haysboro School Council is pleased to continue to offer monthly fun lunches through Healthy Hunger for the new school year.  Meals will be delivered at lunchtime to students in grade 1-6 and Kindergarten students who attend Maple Roots after school program.  If you would like to participate, you can register with Healthy Hunger if you haven't already through the following link: https://healthyhunger.ca/parent-help

Lunches are delivered to the school and served at lunch time, proceeds from fun lunches are directed back to the School Council account to support initiatives like student experiences, field trips, etc.

Parking lot

A gentle reminder that our school parking lot is fully assigned to staff in the school and the associated offices. While a spot may be open during the day, that staff member may be returning at any time. Additionally, for the safety of people who may be walking through the parking lot and the vehicles inside, we need to keep traffic to a minimum. If you are dropping off, picking up or coming in to ask a question, we ask that you park on the street (watch out for the bus zone!) and walk into our building. Thank you very much for your support.
